As of Oct. 20, 2026, Bilt points transfer to JetBlue TrueBlue at 1:1.
Bilt announced it on Oct. 20. JetBlue is Bilt's 27th travel partner, and 1,000 Bilt points become 1,000 TrueBlue points.
It is a useful addition. It is not a reason to move points today.
What Changed
Ratio: 1:1.
Minimums: transfers go in 1,000-point increments. The minimum is 1,000 points, or 2,000 if your Bilt status is Blue.
Setup: link your TrueBlue account once in the Bilt app or on Bilt.com (Rewards tab, then Travel rewards, then Transfer), per Bilt's transfer partner page.
Speed: Bilt says most transfers are immediate, but allow up to 48 hours. Transfers can't be reversed.
JetBlue cardholders: Bilt says you can add your JetBlue card to the Bilt app for extra earning, with more features "coming soon."
The Math
I value points at The Points Guy's October 2026 valuations: Bilt at 2.2 cents and TrueBlue at 1.35 cents.
10,000 Bilt points at 2.2 cents = about $220 of value
The same 10,000 points as TrueBlue at 1.35 cents = about $135
Difference: about $85 given up on an average JetBlue redemption
The reason is how JetBlue prices awards. There is no fixed award chart for JetBlue flights. JetBlue says the points required are "based on the published base fare at the time of booking." When the cash price goes up, the points price goes up with it. Domestic award taxes are $5.60 each way.
Here is the check for any specific flight:
(cash fare minus $5.60) ÷ points required = cents per point
Hypothetical example: a flight costs $250 or 17,000 points. That is $244.40 ÷ 17,000 = 1.44 cents. Below 2.2. Pay cash, or use a currency you value lower.
To beat the house value, the number has to clear 2.2 cents. With fare-based pricing, expect that to be rare.
When It's Worth It
Topping off. You found the flight and you're 3,000 TrueBlue points short. Moving 3,000 Bilt points to finish the booking is fine. Small loss, real trip.
Partner awards. TrueBlue points also book select partner airlines, and JetBlue requires those bookings to be paid fully in points. Partner prices aren't tied to JetBlue's own fares, so run the same math on the real price before you move anything.
Bilt is your only flexible currency. If you fly JetBlue out of New York, Boston or Florida and Bilt is all you earn, this is one more door. Still run the math.
When to Skip
Moving points "to have them ready." TrueBlue prices follow cash prices. There is no cheap fixed price to lock in.
Any JetBlue redemption under 2.2 cents per point. Your Bilt points are worth more sitting in Bilt until a better use comes along.
One more Bilt date to know: Bilt's World of Hyatt ratio drops from 1:1 to 4:3 on Jan. 1, 2027, per a notice Bilt posted on its Hyatt transfer page on Oct. 1 (NerdWallet reported it the same day). I'll cover that one separately.
What to Do Now
Link your TrueBlue account in the Bilt app now. It costs nothing and saves time later.
Don't transfer until you have a specific flight and the cents-per-point number for it.
See every place Bilt points can go on our transfer partners page.
Set your own value per point with the Points Valuation tool.
Bottom Line
JetBlue makes Bilt more flexible. It doesn't make JetBlue a great use of Bilt points. Treat it as a top-off tool and a backup, not a destination for your balance.
Reply with the JetBlue route you fly most. I'll tell you whether I'd use Bilt points, another currency or cash.
